Responsibilities
- Accountable for the scoping and delivery of high quality, customer-friendly solutions, as evidenced by taking ownership of data quality, report quality and customer satisfaction
- Responsible for proactively identifying opportunities to improve customer focus, system thinking and quality (data and functionality). Can readily identify efficient and effective options for new solutions
- Manage operating plan to ensure that the project work is focused on the strategic destination and prioritizes work across internal project teams
- Proactively manages the project workflow to ensure teams are equipped with concise project information in a timely manner
- Takes ownership of being informed about existing and new deliverable as well as the customers and data providers
- Responsive in solving problems using SMART methodology: Specific, Measurable, Actionable, Realistic and Time Bound.
- Responsible for using available resources to perform in depth research and providing direction to customers as they seek to develop or use existing solutions.
- Initiates discussion with customers around potential projects and scopes the work based on strategic need, priority, and resource allocation
- Coordinates with customer and cross functional team to assign realistic timelines to complete Major Development projects. Identifies and recommends a phased approach when applicable
- Facilitates customer discussions to understand short and long term needs as well as areas of growth
- Assigns resources in the area of data analysis and research when scoping strategic initiatives
- Portrays the role of subject matter expert as it relates to strategic initiatives and helps guide staff toward successful and thoughtful project outcomes
Skills, Requirements, and Certifications
- Bachelor degree in Business Administration/Economics or related area required. Masters degree preferred. May substitute an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- 1-3 years of Manufacturing experience required.
- 3+ years experience with analyzing customer business requirements for reporting required.
- 1+ years in supervisory role, mentoring staff and defining and improving development and support processes.
- Knowledge of German preferred.
- Ability to lead business users to clear articulation of analysis requirements and data needed to support that analysis
- Knowledge of relational databases, data warehousing and business intelligence required
